A Landmark Project
Polar Bear Housing at Jimmy’s Farm
Chapelstone worked with Stevie Sheppard, park director at Jimmy’s Farm, to design the new facility. Extensive research was carried out as the team visited existing housings such as the Polar Bear enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park and others within Europe to produce a new and improved enclosure. Chapelstone have designed the cage work in a modular fashion, allowing panels to be removed and modified if required, for a truly adaptable facility. The building within which the cage work sits has been designed for maximum airflow, security for the rangers and welfare of the Polar Bears.
